Ferncliff Chronicles Chapter 62
Time in an Bottle Part 1

Port Charles
Scanlon Garage
March 7, 2001
10 pm

If I could save Time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day
'Til Eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you

If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then,
Again, I would spend them with you

"Frank!" Courtney said turning the record player off, then observed him typing on the computer.

"You are amazing, you got that old relic computer up and running in one day." Courtney said excitedly.

"Yes, I managed to get Nellie working, thus proving that stupid computer expert wrong. He told me that old Nellie would never work again, I bet him she would. Now, he owns me a 100 bucks," Frank grinned, then kissed her passionately.

"100 bucks. Now I can go shopping," Courtney said gleefully kissing him more passionately.

Then she glanced at the computer and noticed a message flash across the screen.

Frank, going to Kelly's for supper. See you later.

Frank typed Okay

"Who is your friend, Frank?" Courtney asked with curiosity.

"Oh, her name is Cookie. She is a troubled teenager. And what a kidder, she is. She claims that she lives in 1973," Frank said chuckling.

Courtney looked at the computer closely, then said strangely, "Um, Frank. This computer isn't connected to the Internet, at all. In fact, all you are doing is typing messages on a blank screen."
Frank looked freaked, then said, "Oh, my gosh. Then, somehow I am really talking to some girl from 1973. This is so incredible, Courtney! It's like something out of the Twilight Zone."

"What are you going to do, Frank?" Courtney asked with concern.

Frank thought for a second, then said, "I believe that Fate has brought her to me for a purpose. I will be like Sam in Quantum Leap and correct some wrong in her past.
Courtney shook her head, "Victor said we should never interfere in the past if we ever had a chance to time travel. Remember, he told us at the Collin's Christmas Dinner. It might affect future events as we know them."

Frank rolled his eyes, then said, "Oh, please. Victor is loony, like I would ever trust his judgment. I promise, I always give nothing but good advice to Cookie. I can only improve her future not hurt it. After all, Lark was a success story, right."

"Yes, she sure was. She certainly listened to you, after your unforgettable swan dive off the GH roof. Tell me, Frank, are you planning to repeat that success," Courtney said sarcastically.

Frank rolled his eyes, then replied. "Of course not, Courtney. But if I did, I will make sure to wear a parachute."

Suddenly Frank's beeper went off, "Shoot. Got to take off, Courtney. I assure you that I will use only the computer keys to help Cookie instead of an hospital ledge. See you later!"

Then he ran out of the door and headed to the main house to change into his EMT uniform.

Courtney stared at the computer, then a message appeared.

Cookie is very lonely in 1973. There is no harm with them being friends...Nellie.

Then the computer shut off by itself, Courtney shook her head, "You don't know Frank, Nellie. He will become obsessed with you and Cookie in no time flat. You may regret letting Frank in her life."

Then Courtney shut the lights off, and closed the garage door.

Basketball Court
Scanlon House
March 28, 2001
5pm

"Mac, Kevin. Why are we at Chez Scanlon and not heading home to Ferncliff? I have been at your stupid PCPD for weeks since I killed Katherine Bell. Kevin assured me I could go home that day, but nooooo, you wouldn't let me, Mac," Julie whined, playing with the basketball.

"I'm sorry, Julie. But at least, we allowed you to watch Days of our Lives. Not all prisoners get that privilege, Some would rather be shot instead," Mac smiled widely.
"Shut up, Mac! Because if you don't, I will finished the job that Ryan Chamberlain didn't. Your death!!!!" Julie threatened.

"Ryan was 10 ten times the psycho that you are. You aren't good enough to shine his shoes!" Mac sneered.

"Julie, Mac's right. My twin brother, if he was still alive, would of been number one in that psycho poll.. But Julie, I need you to calm down this instance. Mac was making a joke for heaven sakes, so lighten up. There is no need for death threats. I'm sorry, you couldn't return home to Ferncliff like you wanted. But it is more important that Mac finds out the truth what happened that fatal day at the Cassadine estate," Kevin stated.

"Julie, we know you witness the murder. I hope by keeping you at the PCPD for weeks that you would finger Helena as the murderer. But it is obvious to me, Helena has you brainwashed so much, that you actually believe you did it," Mac said shaking his head.
"Whatever Mac, you believe what you want to believe. I know I killed her. End of Subject," Julie said irritated, "Now why are we here?"

"Courtney has asked me to help for an invention for her beloved, Frank. She called all his friends and family to talk some sense into him," Kevin replied.

"Ok, I am no friend of Frank. So why I am here?" Julie asked annoyed.

"Well, Julie. Frank still cares for you, even though you are a homicidal manic. He still values your opinion, very much. Let's go in." Kevin suggested as they walked in the kitchen.
"Well, I am unforgettable. We had some good times on that table," Julie smiled.

"Remind me not eat on that table," Kevin whispered to Mac, who chuckled.

They entered the living room and saw Mary, Victor, Neil, Joe, Chris, Karen, and Courtney in the living room.

"Oh, good, everyone is here now. I have asked you all here to help Frank deal with his latest addiction." Courtney stated.

"I don't know Frank very well, what has he been addicted to?" Mac inquired.

"DL56. But that's one addiction that has made us very rich," Chris smiled happily.

"My girlfriends," Joe chuckled.

"Stalking Eve! Frank was so creepy during his DL56 days," Kevin shuddered.

"Trying to kill me! Oh, wait, that was Julie," Victor laughed.

"Shut up Victor. Or I will try again, real soon," Julie said coldly.

"Julie and Victor, you are getting off subject. Be quiet. Come on tell Mac, what else has Frank been addicted too?" Courtney inquired.

"My paternity," Neil threw out.

"Courtney, Wouldn't stop talking about her, the moment she returned town. He just wouldn't keep quiet about her. Now, I know why, they were once lovers," Julie said sounding bitter.

"Gee Julie. Frank was obsessed about you being innocent. Gee, you sure proved him wrong," Courtney said sarcastically.

"Well, you can't be right all the time, can we," Julie grinned.

"What else?" Mac asked

"Gambling," Mary said shaking her head.

"Jealously of Joe's medical career. If it hadn't been for his football injury, He would been a doctor too.. Blah, Blah, Blah." Karen said rolling her eyes.

"Man, Frank has lot of addictions. What he is addicted to now?" Mac asked.

"The worst addiction you could ever imagine, Courtney said in horror.

"The Mob! Frank has became a hero worshiper of Sonny and Jason!" Julie said in shock.
"Jerk! How could he be friends with those two mobsters. Frank knew what Sonny did to Karen," Joe said in disgust.

"I agree with Joe. What the hell was Frank thinking? Didn't he care that his actions would hurt my girlfriend." Chris said angrily.

"Obviously Chris, he bought Sonny's good guy mob image," Karen said bitterly.

"We need to do the invention now, before he ends up like Zander Smith. A loyal mobster lackey," Mac said shaking his head.

"No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Courtney shouted, "He is not obsessed with those monsters, I mean mobsters. So okay, it's the second worst addiction. It's the computer!"

"I should of never bought Frank that laptop for Christmas. This is my all my fault," Mary said looking depressed.

"Frank is responsible for this new addiction, not you. The important thing is to help him right now!" Victor said hugging her.

Suddenly Courtney whistled loudly, then said, "Listen to me people, I will only say this once. Frank is not addicted to the laptop at all. He is addicted to the 1973 antique computer that he found at the hospital auction. Neil and I never see him anymore. Lark got tired of Frank ignoring her and moved out. He spends all his spare time talking to this girl from 1973 on the computer. I am really worried about him. And I know this story sounds crazy, but Frank is really talking to the past....You see, I discovered that the computer isn't connected to the Internet at all. Nellie is allowing Frank to connect to this girl in 1973, somehow. She told me that this girl really needs Frank's friendship. He just addicted to helping her, but I am afraid he will mess time up without realizing it.. And then it will be to late for fixing the time line. Does anyone believe me that Frank is communicating with this girl from 1973?

"Well, if Luke and Laura can save the world from Freezing, then why not chat with someone from 1973. So as crazy as it sounds, I totally believe you that Frank has a friendship with a girl from the past," Mac smiled.

"Me too!" the rest of the group said in unison.

"Wonderful and now we are ready to confront Frank in the garage. We all must tell him that we love him, except Julie, and only want to help him get better. Let's go!" Courtney said in determination.

"It's true, I don't love Frank. But if I ever did again, please lock me up in Ferncliff," Julie smirked to Kevin as they left the house with the group.

Kevin laughed and shut the door, "Julie, Julie, Julie. It's too late you are already in Ferncliff. It must of been Frank's love in the first place, that sent you on the road to insanity.!" Kevin laughed as he shut the door.

"Oh, ain't that the truth!" Julie giggled, then shot the basketball in the hoop.

2 minutes later
Scanlon Garage

Frank was typing a message on the computer
So, Cookie. About the dance, are you sure you want to go
Frank hit the enter reply, then waited. A message appeared from Cookie
Yes, then I will be with the guy I love, all night long

"That would be a big mistake," Frank said shaking his head.

"Frank, I need to talk to you. It's very important!" Courtney said loudly as she entered the garage with the others.

"Why is everybody here. Is this an intervention? Courtney I told you already thatI wasn't addicted to Nellie, or helping this girl from 1973," Frank protested.

"Frank, haven't I told you to leave the time line alone. Interfering with the past could alter the future we know today," Victor advised.

"Victor, don't take this wrong way. But since you spent alot of years in a loony bin, your opinions on time traveling aren't valid to me. Victor, I know what I am doing. Trust me, I will only make this girl's future better," Frank smiled.

"Fine, if you mess up time. It's not my fault!" Victor said angrily, looking very hurt.
"Leave Victor alone, Frank. How could you be so cruel calling him loony. Victor came with me to help you. Well, forget it, we are leaving!" Mary said angrily.

"Mom, I'm sorry," Frank whispered as he watched Victor and Mary depart, "Oh, well. She will forgive me tomorrow. After all...."

"You are her perfect son," The group said in unison.

"Does anybody else has something to say." Frank asked looking annoyed.

"Yes, Frank I do. Courtney tells me you have neglected your family and friends, because you are addicted with this computer and this teenage girl. The computer has taken over your life, that all you ever do anymore. I'm surprised you haven't moved your bed into the garage. The only time you aren't on the computer, is when you are working. Lark moved out because she was tired of your obsession with Cookie," Kevin pointed.

"Lark, moved!!! When??? No, you are wrong. I just saw her last week" Frank seemed puzzled.

"Frank, that was about three weeks ago. The last time you saw her, was the day you got the computer running. She got fed up a week ago and packed up her bags. Frank, don't you see how your addiction is hurting others. You didn't even realize that Lark was absent. Please Frank, save yourself from this addiction before it is too late!" Courtney begged with Neil by her side.

"Please Dad, listen to Mom. We miss you," Neil said with tears in his eyes.

He paused then said, "Courtney and Neil, I need you to understand, I didn't mean to neglect anyone. This is the work, I am supposed to do. My purpose is to guide my trouble young friend, Cookie to a better future. Before you all interrupted, my advice to Cookie, was to skip the High School Dance. You see, she told me that she wanted to spend a night with a guy, she really likes. I am just about to stop her from making the biggest mistake in her life," Frank said proudly.

"You Idiot!!" Karen slapped Frank hard on the cheek, "Cookie is my mother's nickname. You totally forget I told you that one night at the house, when I dating Joe. And that guy she is meeting, is Scott Baldwin. I was conceived that night, for your information. So guess what, Frank, I am that big mistake you wanted to stop. Thanks alot, Scanlon, you could of prevented me from ever existing."

"Good going Frank! My life would be pretty empty with my soulmate Karen in it," Chris said angrily.

"I should of wiped out your existence, Ramsey!" Frank snapped.

"Karen, I am sorry I hurt you. But how I was supposed to know Rhonda was Cookie. As for your father, he probably be glad you don't exist," Frank commented.

"That is awful thing to say, Scanlon. But sadly enough, I think you are right about Scott," Karen said sadly as Chris hugged her.

"But I am so sorry, Karen. Chris is right for a change, I was a total jerk toward you. I was a fool for thinking that would be no consequences for my actions. I see now that I was wrong. I have to face up to the truth that I am an addict to the computer and interfering with time."

He pulled Courtney close to him, then said warmly, "Courtney, thank you for making me face my hardest addiction ever with this addiction. I have become so obsessed with Cookie, I forget the most important people in my life. My friends and family, but I have learned my lesson. I swear to never interfere in the time line again. It was a real shock learning that Cookie is Rhonda Wexler. Karen, I promise to never do something so stupid like this again. I can't believe how close I got to wiping you out of existence. No more Time in a Bottle for me again. My relationship with Cookie and Nellie ends tonight. I will tear out the cord right now!"

Suddenly he notice Julie typing on the computer furiously, "What the hell are you doing, Julie!"

"Too late, Frankie! Like you, I'm interfering with time. I pretended to be you and instructed Cookie not to go to the dance. She cried a little, but agreed not to go! Bye, Bye, Karen!" Julie laughed wickedly, then yanked the cord out of the wall.

"Why Julie, Why?" Karen asked in despair.

"Because you threw me over for your newest best friend, Eve. You don't have the right to exist!" Julie sneered as she watched Karen disappeared.

Suddenly someone tapped her on her shoulder, "Dr. Devlin. Here are your messages!"

Julie whipped and gasped in delight. It was Grace, the nurse she murdered years ago.

"Grace, Tell me is there a Dr. Karen Wexler working as a resident here?" Julie inquired.

"No, Don't know a Dr. Wexler!" Grace answered.

"Of course you shouldn't, Thanks Grace," Julie smiled.

"Your welcome," Grace said looking at her oddly.

She doesn't exist, thanks to me. Now, I am free from Ferncliff forever," Julie said chuckling to herself as she left.

"Boy that Julie is stranger than usual She is talking to herself.. Must be from lack of sleep. Karen Wexler, sounds like a character from one of those soap operas she watches," Grace said shaking her head.

Meanwhile Julie headed toward the hospital cafeteria and started to sing softly to herself

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go

Chapter 63 Time in a Bottle Part 2.
March 28, 2001
General Hospital, East Side
Nurses Station
Level 6

"Julie! How is the residency going?" Amy smiled as Julie approached with her files.

"Why don't you tell me of my progress so far?" Julie asked slyly, wondering what has her life has been like since she eliminated Karen Wexler.

"Well, I loved too," Amy smirked. "Well, you have certainly made a impression since you entered PC in 1997. You, Matt Harmon, Chris Ramsey, Eve Lambert, Jake Marshak, Joe Scanlon, and Greg Cooper were the best interns that GH ever had."

"Greg, that psycho!!! Why General Hospital continues to hire psychos is beyond me? Was Alan on drugs when he hired him!" Julie said shocked.

"Julie, Greg is an excellent doctor. Just because just because Dr. Ryan Chamberlain was a psycho, doesn't mean every doctor is. Beside, Greg proved to Monica and Allan that he wasn't unstable like his so called record claimed," Amy snapped.

"I beg to differ. Have you been to his parties. You can't leave without the help of the police. And I can't forgot how that wacko tried to perform plastic surgery on my face so I would become his sister, Marcia." Julie retorted.

Amy stared at Julie in disbelief, "Plastic surgery on your face. That's nuts, Julie. Greg would never hurt a fly. Have you lost your mind? I think you need a long vacation, may I suggest Ferncliff."

"No, thanks! Been then, done that," Julie yawned in boredom.

"Very funny, Julie. But your mind isn't in the best mental state right now. After all, your wedding day last week turned into a nightmare. Jax's deceased fiancee, Brenda Barrett, showed up just at the very moment when you about to exchange your vows. We are all thrilled to learn that she didn't perish at sea, but had been rescued by an fisherman called Alcazar. She thought her name was Gina, and worked as a skating instructor in the Beverly Hills 90201. But when she saw Jax's wedding announcement in Fortune Magazine, her memory came flooding back. She returned to PC to stop your wedding, naturally. It was so romantic, when he saw her, it seemed like the world stood still. When they both shouted at once, 'Nobody Leaves!!'; there wasn't a dry eye in the room. Well, except yours. If looks could kill, Jax and Brenda would be dead on the spot... Then a second later, Jax dumps you, then married Brenda.. The guests were applauding so loud for Jax and Brenda, that they didn't hear you stomp out of the room. As you waited for the bus, it started to rain hard and you were totally soaked," Amy laughed.

"I always get left in the rain," Julie sighed.

Amy smacked her, "That's Brenda, idiot! Not you! Well, not this time she didn't."

"I can't believe I almost married that sexy Jax! Wow! Beats that loser Frank any day!" Julie said in a daze.

"Frank Scanlon.. Didn't he also dumped you on your wedding day for Courtney. Maybe next time, will be the charm and you won't have a runaway groom," Amy snickered.

"Very funny, Amy!" Julie sneered, "Besides, why should I care about being dumped. I'm free and not stuck in a mental institution."

"Julie, that's the second time you mentioned a mental institution. Julie, is there something you are not telling us." Amy asked suspiciously.

"I'm just kidding, Amy. Lighten up. I have never been insane ever" Julie yelled.

"Julie, I'm sure if you asked Alan, you would have no problem getting time off," Amy said nervously.

"I think that's an excellent idea. It's been years since I have had a vacation. Not since being locked in.........." Julie quickly stopped herself.

"Ferncliff!" Amy gave her the suspicious look again.

"Noooooooooooooo," Julie lied, "Of course not! I meant General Hospital. Some days, it feels like a prison here. As a resident, I feel like I practically live here.... I think I will call my friend Karen Wexler and go to LA. Tell me, Amy do you know my friend, she lives here in town?"

"Karen Wexler???? Never heard of her. Is she related to Rhonda Wexler, the local drunk?" Amy inquired.

"Nope, not related at all. She used to work as Kelly's years ago. Does that jog your memory?" Julie asked, trying not to laugh.

"No, I don't know this Karen Wexler. Are you sure you aren't thinking of someone else?" Amy asked.

"No, I am not. So, Rhonda, fell off the wagon again," Julie chuckled.

"She never been on the wagon, Julie! She has been a drunk from the day she was released from the Sunnydale Mental Institution in the 70's.

Apparently as a teenager, she told her father that she talked to someone from the future on the computer. Crazy isn't," Amy laughed.

"And thus her future was altered from that little event. And no possible back stabbing daughter was ever born. Shame isn't it!!" Julie smirked as she headed toward the elevator.

Amy shook her head, "That girl is nuts!"

Julie entered the Recovery Room as she whistled Time in A Bottle. It was indeed a beautiful day, and she was ready for lunch.

"What can I get you?" Victor Collins said pleasantly.

"Oh, I will have cheeseburger, Caesar salad and a rootbeer," Julie smiled pleasantly.

Victor wrote down the order, then said, "Should be ready shortly, Dr. Devlin."

"Thanks Victor. Can you bring me my food when ready?" Julie asked.

"Well, Mary will. I have to go now and run some errands. Hope you have a good day, Julie!" Victor replied.

"Thanks," Julie said then eyed two familiar faces at a table.

"Matt! Ellen!!" Julie squealed in delight, then started to hug them to death.

"Julie!! We can't breathe!" Ellen managed to gasp out.

"Oh, sorry. It seems like ages since I have seen you two. I just got so excited," Julie explained quickly.

"Julie, you saw us yesterday at work. It hasn't been that long!!! You act like you haven't seen us in years... I have heard of people being missed but this is ridiculous," Matt said shaking his head.

"The person that you should be concerned about is Ian's friend, Adrianna. She has needed a liver transplant because her brother tried to kill her. But I won't bore you with that story... Rhonda Wexler, that pathetic drunk, was a perfect match. Unfortunately her liver is too damaged from all that drinking." Ellen stated.

"Well, it's too bad Rhonda doesn't have a loser daughter named Karen. But since she doesn't, then that whinny Adrinna will die. Oh well. No big loss there," Julie smirked, still staring at them.

"Julie!! That's pretty cold! You are a doctor, you are supposed to save lives," Matt said angrily.

"You think I should be... But I found taking lives much more fun," Julie laughed wickedly as she stared at Matt and Ellen.

Matt and Ellen looked horrified, "Julie!!"

She rolled her eyes, "Oh, Come on! Don't you ever wish you could kill people that really annoyed you."

"No, we don't!" Ellen and Matt snapped.

"Lighten up Matt and Ellen. I was just joking. Like I would be responsible for five murders in this pathetic town. I would have to be brainwashed to do that," Julie snickered.
"Julie, you really lost some brain cells when Jax dumped you for Brenda... And for heaven sakes, stop staring at us!! It is very creepy.!! Julie, your lunch is on your table. Go eat!" Ellen barked.

"I will! Don't go away again!" Julie smiled, then hugged them.

"Bye, Julie!" Matt and Ellen said, giving her a weird look as she headed back to her table.

Meanwhile, Ellen shook her head towards Julie, "She really needs a vacation, Matt."
"How about a permanent vacation in Ferncliff? I have this real strange feeling that Julie belongs there!" Matt commented.

"That's an odd thing to say," Ellen remarked.

"I know....We better go. Our shift will start soon," Matt said paying the bill.
Matt and Ellen left the Recovery room, just as a very drunk Rhonda Wexler entered the place.

"Well, well isn't Rhonda. How is your daughter, Karen doing? I haven't seen her in ages?" Julie asked, trying not to laugh.

"Karen??? I don't have a daughter named Karen. Are you drunk, Julie?," Rhonda asked looking confused as she took a drink from the bottle in the brown paper bag.

"Nope, but you are.. Didn't think you did. Thanks Rhonda. Now, get lost!!" Julie said pushing Rhonda out of the door.

Afterwards, Julie looked around the room and was shocked to see Jake, Grace, Dr. May, Greg and her Dad at a table.

"Oh, lovely, all my victims are here. Oh no, my Dad is waving at me," Julie groaned quietly as she grabbed her pen.

"Julie. Why don't you join us and lunch with us?" Dr. Devlin shouted.

"Nah, If I eat dinner with you Dad, death will occur. I may be tempted to kill you all again. Starting with you Dad, then Grace, Dr. May, Jake, and John. And if I am really lucky, Greg too. And to be honest, I don't have the energy to do that again," Julie said shaking her head as she approached their table.

"Julie, have you been hanging around Dr. Collins again. His horrible book General Homicide slandered my good name and messed up your mind. Please don't tell me, you are planning to follow in his footsteps," Dr. Devlin said shaking his head.

"As a matter I fact I am. My book is called. General Homicide: The Next Generation. In my book Greg brainwashes me to commit the murders. I start with you Dad, then Grace, Dr. May, Jake, and John. I set up Eve and Kevin for the murders. Frank became hooked on this drug DL56, after falling off a roof. The drug altered his mind and he went completely nuts trying to prove my innocent. I am finally caught and thrown into hilarious adventures in Ferncliff while Greg rots in prison. My last adventure had me erase Karen Wexler, a doctor at GH, existence in life with the help of a computer. As a result, I am free and no longer a brainwashed serial killer," Julie explained.

Laughter burst from the table, "Sounds like some story that comes from that NBC soap Passions." Jake commented.

"Passions!! Give me a break. Days is the best soap ever," Julie smiled.
"Don't you mean was? Days was canceled over three years ago. Their ratings were so pathetic and NBC couldn't wait to rid of it." Grace commented. No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They couldn't have canceled Days!! This is the worse thing that has ever happened to me!" Julie cried.

"Julie, worse than Jax dumping you for Brenda?" Dr. May asked.
"Worse than Frank dumping you for Courtney?" Grace asked.
"Worse than Adrianna being stabbed by her brother," Jake said raising his eyebrows.

"Worse than finding out I had an affair with your roommate Eve years ago," Dr. Devlin said in shock.
"Worse than being stared by mobster Jason Morgan," John commented.

"Yes!! Worse than all that combined together, plus thanksgiving at the Quartermaines. I've need to leave, I have completely lost my appetite." Julie said in distress and ran out the recovery room.

"I have to get back home to my reality. I have to find a way to restore that loser Karen to existence. If I don't, I will be stuck in this world without Days. And that is a fate worse than death and Ferncliff. But there is only person, who can restore time.... Professor Victor Collins!!" Julie declared confidently.

"Victor!! Victor!! Open up!! Shut that Damn CD player off!" Julie yelled as she banged on the door
The door suddenly opened and Victor smiled, "Come on in, Julie. I have been waiting for you. We must send you to back to 1985!" Victor joked.
"Shut up, Victor! You aren't Professor Brown and I'm not Marty McFly! I see you got my email about bringing back Karen Wexler," Julie said sarcastically.
"Yes, I did. We need to find a way to bring back Karen Wexler after you stupidly erased her from time," Victor said seriously.
"Gee, Victor, how do you managed to find a way to insult me in both Port Charles," Julie said sarcastically.
"It's not easy, but someone has to do it," Victor chuckled.
Julie glared at him, then said calmly, "I don't get it, why do you believe that I came from alternative Port Charles! Anyone else would lock me up in a loony bin."
"Julie, nothing is impossible, I know that more than anyone. Remember, I have experience with psychic spy espionage and magic dresses, so I have no doubt that you altered time," Victor smiled.
"Yes, how could one forget psychic espionage and those stupid dresses," Julie said rolling her eyes. "So Professor, how I am going to get home?"
"Well, Ian's friend, the Chief, is an expert in time traveling. He will help us," Victor replied.
Ding, Dong!, the bell suddenly rang loudly
Victor ran to the door and flung it open.
"Chief, it's so nice to for you to be here. Please, come in," Victor said happily.
"I'm happy to be here," the chief smiled as he entered the living room.
"I hate to cut this sappy moment. But while you two are yapping away, I am missing Days," Julie said angrily.
"And??" Victor said staring at her.
"And..........Karen is still vanished from time. And without Karen, poor whinny Adrianne will die. Boo hoo," Julie said sarcastically.
"You are cold woman, Julie. I like our Julie better, such a sweet nice woman!" Victor remarked.
"She, I am mean me, sounds boring, I have much more fun as a brainwashed serial killer. Oh, the stories I could tell you, they would blow your mind!" Julie smirked.
"No thanks, Julie. I don't want to hear about your murderous stories. Chief, tell Julie of your plan to time travel to 1973." Victor instructed.
Well, then let's stop wasting time and get started," The chief said seriously, as he put his bag on the table.
"So, what's your method. I click my red ruby shoes together," Julie said sarcastically.
"Julie, there is a herbal elixir drug called Morca that allows you travel back in time," the chief said ignoring her comment. "It has proven successful for Ian and Eve. They travelled to their past lives, and learned they were always soul mates," The chief smiled happily.
"Hey, Chiefy. If I wanted to know about the great love life of Ian and Eve, I would of rented the movie. Today is about me...... not them. Now, give me the Morca drug, Gilligan!" Julie demanded.
"Julie, there is a danger of taking the Morca drugs," The chief said seriously.
"Like what?" Julie inquired.
"Ohhh, like death. Can you handle it?" The Chief asked seriously.
"Absolutely! I rather be dead if there is no Days! What else?" Julie inquired.
"Do not interact with anyone else in the past. Just destroy the computer in 1973 and leave!" The chief instructed, pulling a bottle out of his bag.
"Well Duh! Because I will affect future events if I do!... And one warning for you, If this drug doesn't work, I will be suing you!!. Now just give me the drug, Chief," Julie said, grabbing the drug from his hand.
"Whether you like it or not, 1973. Here I come, " as she started to drink very quickly.
Suddenly she felt dizzy and fainted on the couch.
"She has began her journey to correct the time line. She must believe strongly in order to bring Karen back," the Chief said thoughtfully.
"Oh, Julie sounds determine. I have no doubt, Julie won't return without completing her mission. Chief, this Julie Devlin is totally obsessed with this show, Days. Believe me, Days and Karen Wexler are a package deal together. Julie will return with them both," Victor said confidently.
"Dr. Karen Wexler," the chief corrected him
"Whatever! I'm just happy to get rid of this lunatic Julie Devlin out of our universe," Victor smiled with relief

Port Charles
March 15, 1973

Meanwhile Julie found herself floating through empty space but suddenly she hit a big snow bank.
"Nooooooooooooooo!" Julie screamed as she fell through the snow.
"Sure the Chief warned me about everything, but to dress properly for time traveling. Thanks alot Chief. I'm just glad it's a warm day, and not freaking cold outside," Julie said sarcastically, as she laid in the snow.
"I hate to interrupt your rambling. But, would you like some help?" a woman's voice said loudly.
"Yes, I would...Could you tell me today's date and year........Mary Collins, what are you doing here?.. ..." Julie asked, looking surprised to see a pregnant Mary Collins.
Mary smiled, "Easy..It's March 15, 1973!"
"Yes, I made here safely alright!!" Julie grinned, as she brushed the snow off her clothes.
"If you call hit a snow bank, safely, I guess you did... But why did you call me Mary Collins. You must have me confused with someone else. My name is Mary Scanlon and this is my sweet son, Frankie," Mary said pointing to the boy.
"Frank, sweet.... As if..... He will be sweet, for a New York Minute, that is. In a twinkling in a eye, he will be a class one jerk," Julie muttered.
"Excuse me, what did you say?" Mary asked, looking curious.
"I said... Your son is adorable. Nice to meet you two. But I have places to go, things to destroy.." Julie smiled.
"Things to destroy????" Mary said in shock.
"I'm just joking. Mary, you really need to develop a sense of humor, instead of your meddling skills.. Well, I really need to leave now. Ta!!' Julie said as she ran down the street.
"Ta???????. What kind of strange word is that?" Mary said puzzled.
She shook her head, "Never mind.... Frankie, let's hope we never run into that strange rude woman again. Time to head home and prepare dinner,"
"Alright, Mommy," Frankie said, as they walked toward the car.

The Wexler House
6pm, same day

"I'm sure glad it's 1973, and that no one locks their doors, "Julie grinned as the entered the house, carrying a hammer.
"And I doubt that Frank's Dad will miss his hammer. He's drunk most of the time anyways," Julie chuckled as she headed toward the living room.
"What the hell are you doing in my house!!! I'm Cookie, this is my house, and I am going to call the PCPD right now! Cookie said angrily.
"Oh, hi Rhonda, I mean Cookie. One bit of advice, That Frank, who you are communicating with is no friend," Julie smiled.
"You are a complete stranger, how do you know about Frank?" Cookie asked suspiciously.
"Oh, Scott Baldwin told me," Julie quickly responded.
Oh,okay. Any friend of Scott is a friend of mine then....... But I have to tell you that are mistaken about Frank. He is the best friend that I have ever had," Cookie grinned.
"Then you must have pretty low standards as friends, if you picked Frank.. Say.. is that... Days of Our Lives on your TV," Julie said excitedly.
"Why yes it is. But I'm sure there is something better on!" Cookie commented.
"There is nothing better than Days, you imbecile!!!, However, I insist you take a nap, you look tired, " Julie said sweetly.
"I'm not tired," Cookie said looking confused.
"My hand says differently," Julie said as she knocked the vase over her head.
"Excellent.. A nap always refreshes the body," Julie smirked wickedly as she walked over an unconscious Cookie and sat down on the couch.

An hour later
"Days rocks in 1973!! There is never such a thing as a bad episode," Julie sighed happily as she turned off the TV,.
"Well, sleepyhead. I need to destroy your Dad's computer, so your stripper turned doctor daughter won't be erased in future times. And then I can exist in a world with Days." Julie grinned.
Julie started to whistle Time in a Bottle as she entered the computer room with the ax.
"Bye, Bye Nellie. Parting is such sweet sorrow as Shakespeare would say. Not really, actually it is quite fun!" she snickered as she started to smash the modem, then the computer screen.

5 minutes later
Julie smiled as she looked at the destroyed Nellie, "I have done it. Frank will not restore the computer, become obsessed with Cookie, then I won't erase Karen. And the world will be complete again, because Days is back..."
"Oh, I don't feel so good. It must be that Morca drug..." Julie said as she fainted on the floor.

"Julie, Julie! Wake up. If I am that boring to you, I can always get your a new shrink!!" Kevin yelled.
"What? What? Where I am?" Julie said disoriented.
"Julie, It's March 2001, and you are in your room at Ferncliff! We are having our session here, because the visitor room is getting cleaned."
Julie started laughing. "The time traveling drugged worked. I have successfully returned from 1973 to 2001!" Julie said in shock as she looked at her room.
"Time Traveling.....Julie, did you hit your head again.. You sound much crazier than usual!" Kevin said sounding concern.
"I'm fine. It was only a silly dream, I just had. You see, I dreamt I traveled back in time," Julie lied.
"Okay, Julie. Whatever you say," Kevin said giving her a odd look.
"Say, Dr. Collins. Do you know a Karen Wexler at work?" Julie asked casually.
"Julie, have you been over medicated lately. First you talk time traveling, then you inquire if I ever heard of a Karen Wexler. Of course I know her, you know that!! I see her at work all the time," Kevin inquired.
"Karen exists again. How wonderful," Julie mumbled sarcastically to herself.
"Julie, stop it! I hate it when you mumble." Kevin said sounding ticked.
"I said, Days is on! Move Doc!!," Julie shouted as she pushed Kevin off this chair and onto the floor.
"Ah, A world without Days is like a world without Chocolate," Julie sighed.
"Julie, you are a complete nut!" Kevin said, as he picked himself up off the floor.
"And don't you forget it. Now leave!" Julie ordered.
"My pleasure. See you tomorrow, Julie," Kevin said as he exited the room
"Of course, Same time, same Bat channel," Julie said turning on the TV.
Afterwards, she sighed happily, "One o'clock and all is well. The Time Line is restored, I live in Ferncliff again, could care less about Adrianna's fate. Life still sucks, but I can deal as long as Days exists in my life."

The end.
