Chris lowered his lips to his wife's neck, creating a delicate pattern upon her skin. He eased his lips to her ear, nibbling on her lobe before he heard her giggle.
''Good morning to you too,'' Karen spoke softly, placing her hand upon his which held her body firmly against his. She turned her body within his grasp and looked into his eyes.
"Good morning," He smiled, gently easing her hair away from her cheek, "How did you sleep?"
"I was in your arms," She pointed out, lightly brushing her fingertips over his chest, "So of course I slept perfectly."
He gazed into her eyes and allowed a smile to play over his face, "So did this serve as a good make up for our missed honeymoon?"
"No," She said softly, "Our first wedding night was perfect. It doens't get any better than being in the arms of the man I love."
"You know just how to sweet talk me," He spoke with a smile.
"I've learned exactly what I have to do to wrap you around my pinky finger," Karen advised him as she slipped her arms around his neck, "I enjoy my knowledge thoroughly."
"You've taken great pleasure in showing that," He whispered as he kissed her tenderly.
She smiled, "I haven't heard you complaining about my.....experiences," She spoke as she kissed him again.
"No, I haven't," He grinned before he began placing kisses upon her neck.
"Hmmm," She purred, offering more of her neck to his touch. She lazily closed her eyes as she enjoyed the sensations he created within her, "What time do we have to pick up Natalie?"
"Before noon," He whispered before nibbling on her ear lobe, "Lucy has some kind of appointment."
Karen smiled as she pushed Chris to his back and crawled over him. She smiled as she gazed into his eyes, "Then I have time to enjoy my knowledge of my husband."
Chris grinned before his wife's lips found his, silencing any opinion he may have intended to voice.

Gabi fumbled in her purse for her car keys as she stepped out of the ER. She rushed down the sidewalk, her attention diverted by her search. She stumbled directly into an oncoming pedestrian. She caught herself on his arm to right herself as she looked up into a pair of dark eyes, "Oh....excuse me."
"No, excuse me," He spoke, his voice cool and calm, "I wasn't paying attention to where I was going."
"Neither was I," She spoke for a moment, "I'm sorry about that. I was just looking for my keys, and it seems like a endless search."
He looked to the sidewalk and bent, picking up the keys and offering them to her, "Are these the keys in question?"
She sighed, a smile beginning to tug at her lips, "Yes, they would be. Thank you."
"No thanks are necessary," He smiled, "Do you work here?" He asked, nodding to the hospital.
"I'm a nurse," Gabi replied with a nod.
"Do you happen to know where I could find Doctor Karen Wexler?"
"Karen," Gabi repeated the name softly, "She's off today, but I think she's back on shift tomorrow. You could come back by then if you want to speak with her."
He nodded, "I think I will," He said before taking a look at the hospital once more and turning back down the sidewalk.

"Did you miss your mommy?" Karen asked as she held her daughter in her arms, keeping the bottle at an angle from which Natalie could drink comfortably, "I missed you, Sweetie."
"I think she did miss her mommy," Chris spoke as he sat beside them on the sofa.
"How can you tell?" She asked him as she looked back to him briefly.
"It's the way she holds your finger there over her bottle," He said as he gently stroked his daughter's hand with a fingertip, "She's holding onto you so tightly, and she refuses to let go. I'd say that's a clear case of missing you."
"I think she missed you too, Daddy," She smiled as she looked back to Natalie, "The way she cooed when you changed her diaper earlier was adorable."
"I was singing to my little girl," He smiled, "Her favorite lullabye."
"What's her favorite?"
"It's an Elvis song of course," He smiled as he tickled his daughter's feet, watching as she withdrew from him and curled into her mother in a tight ball.
"Chris, she's trying to eat here," Karen reprimanded him as she listened to Natalie giggle against her bottle. She smiled as she watched her daughter pull away from the bottle. She placed the bottle on a nearby table while repositioning Natalie in her arms.
Natalie looked towards her father who smiled and placed his finger under her chin. He lightly tickled her as she wobbled in her mother's arms for a moment. Karen secured her hold on Natalie who looked to her father with a smile.
"I think you've got her attention, Daddy," Karen smiled as Chris kissed his daughter's forehead.
"I love you, Natalie. You know Daddy loves you, don't you?" He asked as he looked to his daughter.
Natalie watched her father with wide eyes before she lost her balance and leaned into her mother. Karen snuggled her daughter close against her and rubbed her back gently, "She's Mommy's girl."
Chris smiled as he leaned over and placed his head upon Karen's shoulder to be at eye level with Natalie, "She's a very smart girl. She knows that her Mommy is the best in the world."
Natalie giggled softly as she placed her palm on her father's cheek before finding his nose and giving a swift tug. She giggled as his face wrinkled. Karen smiled as she watched her husband and daughter, feeling as if she had everything in the world right before her.
