First of all,

We hope you enjoy it as we've spent a lot of time and emotion in writing
this one. There are some things you need to know going into this
one.
Timeline: This story is set in 2010. Chris and Karen have been married for a number of years and have a daughter, Jordan, who is 8 years old.
Before reading this fiction, you should know that this one is a little different from other stories you've read. That's because it's written in two parts, from two different points of view. One side of the story is Karen's to tell while the other side belongs to Chris. Liz writes Karen's side while Tona writes Chris's side through Chapter 41. Then both Chris & Karen's parts of the story are written by Tona. When you read the story, you may see very similar scenes. Keep reading. You'll find different emotions in the scenes from each character. It might be advisable to keep some tissues nearby as well. This particular fiction is heartbreaking in places.
